LMD (Laser Metal Deposition) technology is a direct energy deposition process in which a laser source is used to generate a concentrated beam that melts the material, which is dosed through a nozzle, and that allows additive manufacturing layer by layer of parts of complex geometry, medium and large, and with a high rate of deposition.
