The laminator is used in the manufacture of photovoltaic modules from their individual components: photovoltaic cell, encapsulating material, glass and rear protective layer.
The process is based on the polymerization of a thermoplastic, consisting of two or more components, that melts by the effect of temperature and "thermo-seal" the photovoltaic module to protect it from the environment.
Thermoplastic polymerization services can be provided, although process variables are focused on those used in photovoltaic applications.
