National Centre for Technology and Food Safety

The National Centre for Technology and Food Safety works on the front line with the agrifood sector in order to open up new paths relating to Quality, Technology, Safety and Innovation in food, in a more and more globalised and demanding sector.

Every day we assume the challenge of integrally responding to the needs of the agrifood industry, of providing novel solutions and contributing, with the results obtained, to improving the competitiveness of the agrifood sector. The entire chain that makes up the sector, from the smallest companies to the major European and international projects related to food innovation, can find an answer to their needs in our strategic activity fields.

Our technological services portfolio is divided into five major areas: Food research, development and innovation, foodstuff control and analysis, and in-process assistance; quality and food safety management systems; technical training and consultancy.

These five basic fields of activity stem from the knowledge and know-how of more than 100 people, with a high academic and professional background, who work at the San Adrian facilities (Navarre-Spain), helping the agrifood sector compete in the nearest markets, helping our products to enter the most demanding countries and to respond to the general interest of society.
